Muscles in Movement 12th & 13th June 2004 Cardiff
With Sandy Gannon

Student Reviews

I felt benefit from doing this course even though I have a background in massage therapy and working within a Chiropractic Clinic for many years.

I gained a greater understanding and knowledge of the Physiology of the Touch for Health Muscles which enabled me to test muscles and investigate posture in a more in depth way.

I really enjoyed being able to work on the TMJ and found it really useful to be able to use other muscles in the body as surrogates for the muscles in and around the mouth.

I think this course is a must for anyone wanting to take their Touch for Health further as you'll get to know the muscles more intimately!

Having had no previous knowledge of Physiology before I started my Touch for Health training, this course was very useful to me in starting to appreciate how all the muscles actually enable the body to move.

Understanding the different joints of the body and how they worked using different lever systems made me think about posture in a completely new way.

Having more in depth muscle tests enables you to work in greater detail particularly when you have a client who feels that a muscle is switched on when you feel that there is something not quite right.

Being able to demonstrate these subtle differences with your client enables you to work together to pinpoint deeper imbalances. Now I just need to remember the new muscles tests!!
